Monty is our take on the traditional wooden chair. It is a multi purpose chair made from solid oak and oak veneer, with a generous back and well defined proportions.
Through a long process of iteration, spending hours in the wood shop, we created many prototypes and full scale mock ups to ensure the comfort, function and construction of the chair.
Monty balances the classic and traditonal aesthetic that is typical of its typology with a contemporary and fresh expression. The colours, details and rhythms of the chair are designed to highlight the qualities of the material. Monty is stackable and designed to fit into most environments and indoor spaces.
